I’ve been riding this board for over 4 years now and dialing in the specs since it was just a black and white prototype. I’ve put it to the test in deep pow, crashed it against support poles in the streets and cruised around aimlessly through the park and around the ski hills. Zion Snowboards has helped me dial in every feature of the Zany Earth board to meet all of the needs of a snowboarder and perform well on every obstacle out there.
The Zany Earth snowboard has a profile file called Park Rocker Combo Platter, which is basically a tasty way to say that the profile technology of this board gives you more ground feel so that you have better control on all sorts of terrain. There’s a small rockered section between the feet that has been raised up by camber underneath each foot. It has tons of pop and float at the same time.
We’ve given it a blunt nose and tail shape for a unique look and feel as well as extra smooth performance on take offs, the flex works well with the pop to get you up on features and pressing consistently. The combo platter camber provides a solid and sturdy ride for putting down high impact landings as well as mobbing into heavy carves!
